The C-factor for wood stave pipe is ~ 120. The C-factor for steel pipe is ~ 100 to 120. The C-factor for concrete pipe is ~ 100 to 120. The C-factor for Corrugated steel is ~ 60. The C-factor of HDPE pipe is 150. A higher C-factor means a smoother pipe, resulting in less friction and energy loss, and a greater carrying capacity. For large diameter bulk water or water transfer projects, HDPE pipe will deliver the greater flow. #hydraulics #waterflow
