In response to Hurricane Helene, Club Car acted promptly to assist our employees and their families, providing the necessary aid for recovery. Alongside our direct relief efforts in Augusta and Evans, we also donated supplies to the United Way to further support the local community in this time of need. As recovery continues in the Augusta area from Hurricane Helene, the safety and well-being of our employees and their families is our #1 priority. There is limited power in the region, gasoline and groceries are very difficult to find, and water utility service interruptions are expected this week. All managers have been reaching out to their team members and thankfully all Club Car employees are safe. There has been considerable damage to homes and property, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all the Black and Gold family that have been impacted. Club Car employees, please stay tuned to your email communication chain, the Club Car Facebook site, and our employee text chains for more updates. It may be several days until power is restored, so all Club Car plant operations and facilities in Evans and Appling will remain closed. Club Car business operations will be open on Monday as normal to support our customers. All business systems are functioning and there will not be any disruption to payroll during this time. If you are in the region and are safely able to work remotely, please do so. However, please do not travel to any of our Augusta facilities unless approved by SLT or EH&S. All other US and Global business and operations will remain functioning as normal. Please be patient as communication and response times will take longer than normal. An update will be provided to channel partners to keep them informed. Please reach out to your manager if you have questions or need additional assistance.
