Women’s Herstory Month Spotlight: Anna Goldfaden To kick off Women’s Herstory Month, we’re celebrating Anna Goldfaden, our Community Engagement Coordinator, whose dedication JUST made a huge difference for nine CLS clients. One Monday morning, nine of our clients were scheduled for eviction at an Annapolis apartment complex. But thanks to the hard work of our CLS attorneys and our strong partnership with the Arundel Community Development Services, Inc (ACDS), every single client is still in their home today. Anna went above and beyond by working one-on-one with each client to gather documents and complete emergency rental assistance applications. One client wasn’t even contacted until the Friday afternoon before the scheduled eviction, but with help from Supervising Attorney Amy Siegel and Kimberly A Gregg at ACDS, the application was processed just in time. An agreement was signed the day before the eviction, and CLS even filed an emergency motion to make sure the client wouldn’t lose their housing. It was a true team effort, and we couldn’t be prouder of Anna and everyone involved! This is just one example of the kind of dedication our team brings to the community every day. #WomensHistoryMonth #CLSProud
