The concept was simple: what makes someone look at an item and say, “wow, that’s cool”? We call this “remarkability” - the likelihood of an item or gift’s ability to achieve praise or elicit a positive remark. Since then, our vision of corporate gifting has evolved even further. We will continue to grow with the needs of those we partner with and innovate new solutions. The world’s a-changing, and we’re keeping pace. Your Guide for Company Gifting We aren’t nameless, faceless bots using algorithms and code to inefficiently direct your shopping experience. We are a real, human team of talented, experienced gifting pros that will guide you throughout every step of your gift-ordering process. The Clove & Twine Mission Our mission is to help companies build lasting relationships through remarkable corporate gifts. We believe that thoughtful gifts help create and nurture relationships between each other. The Clove & Twine Impact We value sustainability and work to weave that value throughout everything we do and every new process we create. While we don’t have much control over the supply chains of companies that provide us with products, we do have control over the companies we choose to work with. We take action where we can, prioritizing partnering with companies that are doing good for the planet. We will always do what we can to use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis. As of 2023, we are 1% for the Planet members and Certified Climate Neutral. We donate $1 from every shipment to One Tree Planted, an organization focused on reforestation - $1 plants one tree.

What do San Diego, London, and Paris have in common? Well, this week they are all host to 1% for the Planet events! That's right, we will be simultaneously gathering with our global community in three locations - connected by our shared commitment to growing impact together. In San Diego, we will be hosting our fifth annual Global Summit at the San Diego Natural History Museum October 15-17. More than 300 of our members and partners will show up to learn, strategize, and grow stronger together for our planet and future generations. And we look forward to inspiration from the likes of Ron Finley, The Thin Green Line Foundation, as well as sessions on responsible finance, doing activism differently, and more. This event is an amazing opportunity for the 1% for the Planet France's environmental partners to find direct support to finance their actions and for the 1% for the Planet community to gather and collectively support pre-selected projects. Kudos to Isabelle Susini and her team for creating and leading this powerful event. And not least, we are partnering with member Blue Earth Summit on their annual event in London. We have a beautiful collaboration going with Guy Hayler and his team, and we're excited to experience and contribute to this incredible event for the first time. Reaching out to brands for products? The thought makes me cringe. I’m not an influencer, and I can’t promise to capture stunning content in return (see attached) So, it was a huge and uncomfortable leap of faith to reach out to some of my favorite brands and ask for a few items. I did it because I knew it would make a genuine difference in the experience. Also, I know who our members are if they can experience these brands during a retreat when they’re truly unplugged, they’ll notice just how remarkable they are. The result? Swag that didn’t just fill a bag but actually transformed the retreat. Those Nodpod weighted eye masks? They took our breathwork sessions to a whole new level. And Drink LMNT kept us all hydrated after a lot of tears. What really hits home for me is knowing our members didn’t just get “stuff”—they received thoughtful tools that added real value. A member's favorite moment on retreat, sitting on the balcony with his partner wrapped up in a custom Hampton bathrobe by Clove & Twine eating the most stunning box of Bar & Cocoa chocolates. Grateful for the partners who helped make this Couples Retreat happen and proud of the awkward journey that got me here.
