Building on a lifetime of public service, President Clinton established the Clinton Foundation on the simple belief that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, everyone has a responsibility to act, and we all do better when we work together. For more than two decades, those values have energized the Foundation’s efforts to address big challenges, create new opportunities, and make a difference in people’s lives across the United States and around the world. As an operating foundation, our programs and the partnerships we build work to expand economic opportunity, improve public health, confront the climate crisis, and inspire citizen engagement and service. The Foundation also operates the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, which enhances these efforts by providing year-round educational and cultural programming and is home to the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum.

President Bill Clinton said it best: “Because this is mostly the story of what we, the people, can do when we work together." When the Clinton Presidential Center opened on this day 20 years ago, we hoped it would make a difference in the community and beyond. As I look back, I am unbelievably proud of where we’ve been and the work we’ve accomplished together with our amazing colleagues at the Clinton Foundation, Clinton School of Public Service, and Clinton Presidential Library. I am looking forward to 20 more years of creating opportunity, encouraging action, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

In October, we gathered over 400 educators, public health leaders, and industry experts in Little Rock, Arkansas for three days of celebration and professional development at the 2024 America’s Healthiest Schools Leaders Summit. Attendees from winning schools in over 30 states shared insights and best practices, celebrated achievements in health and well-being, and strategized for a healthier, more equitable future for our schools and communities.? The highlight of the Summit was the Friday evening Recognition Ceremony, hosted in the Great Hall at the William J. Clinton Library and Museum, where this year’s 66 All-Star Schools were individually celebrated for achieving recognition in all nine America’s Healthiest Schools topic areas. Healthier Generation also announced its 2024 Corporate Hero Awardee, Del Monte Foods, Inc., honored for its commitment to supporting food and nutrition access through the Nourishing Families by Nourishing Schools program. A big thank you to Clinton Foundation and the William J. Clinton Library and Museum for hosting our award celebration. And many thanks to our partners and supporters, including American Heart Association, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cairn Guidance, Del Monte Foods, Inc., Elevance Health, Elkay Manufacturing, GoNoodle, Kaiser Permanente, Kohl's, Lakeshore Learning Materials, and Strala Yoga for supporting such a transformative event for attendees.
