Role of Clinical Exercise Physiologists (CEPs): CEPs are crucial to the success of these programs, leading orientations, conducting intake appointments, and creating personalized exercise prescriptions. They manage patient care, reassess treatment plans, and focus on risk reduction and behavior change. CEPs also play a major role in educating patients and staff about exercise, strength training, and maintaining cardiovascular fitness. Through partnerships with ACSM, CEPA, and AACVPR, CEPs share best practices and new guidelines to improve patient care. ??
