Local leaders across Africa have the knowledge to build resilience – they just need access to climate finance. USAID's Climate Adaptation Support Activity supports the Africa Adaptation Initiative (AAI) to unlock critical adaptation funds from the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The GCF is the world’s largest fund for mitigation and adaptation in developing countries. Despite an effort to reach the Africa region, eligible African entities often need more technical capacity to complete the rigorous accreditation and proposal requirements.
