Wildfires are becoming a new normal in LA and many other cities around the world, reminding us of the urgent need for climate justice. Economic justice movement, Equal Right, argues that Universal Basic Income (UBI) could be a game changer in communities recovery and resilience building in the face of disasters. They propose that a UBI backed by a global Cap and Share policy to provide a necessary safety net for all, ensuring no one is left behind.
