?????? ????????: ?????? ???????? ???????? ???? ?????????? ???? ???????????????????????????????? ???? ??????. Today, I'm incredibly excited to announce the official launch of Differential Bio, an new venture I'm building with Martin Patz and Dong (Xiangdong) Zhao to power the next generation of biomanufacturing champions. To that end, we have raised a €2m pre-seed round to fuel the development of our Virtual Scale-up Platform. It cuts R&D cycle times and removes scale-up barriers by integrating robotic lab automation and computational modeling. If we're doing things right, we can drive a 10x improvement in bioproduct development, which trickles down to affordable bio-based products in our everyday lives. This makes me excited to go to work every day, and we will relentlessly push to make this vision a reality. We’re hiring across wet and dry lab roles. If you’re excited to shape the future of biomanufacturing, check out the job openings in the comments. ?? More details in our press release below. ??

Exciting times at Soldera! We’ve just raised €2.5M—led by Lifeline Ventures with participation from Skaala, Lemonade Stand, and others—to scale our AI-powered platform for managing and trading Guarantees of Origin (GOs). We’re already seeing 32% month-over-month growth as we onboard utility-scale clients like Utilitas, and we’re proud to be featured in Tech.eu for our innovative approach. Historically, GOs have been a headache—manual, fragmented, time-consuming, and often neglected. Our all-star team, with experience from billion-dollar companies (Glia, Trimble Inc., Elektrum Lietuva) and fast-scaling startups (eAgronom, Sixfold), is tackling this challenge head-on. By automating the entire process—from issuance to spot sale or forward-hedging—we give renewable energy producers back their time, maximize the profits of every certificate, and unlock buyers that were previously out of reach. We’re excited to build the critical infrastructure this industry urgently needs and grateful for the support of our investors and partners on this journey! ??: https://lnkd.in/dK4VBQfB

Well done Quilt!
?? We’re honored to share that Quilt has been named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2025! Our journey began with a question: Why do people have to choose between sustainability and comfort? Between efficiency and beauty? Between doing what's right for the planet and what feels right for their home? The answer became Quilt – a revolutionary approach to home climate that: - Achieves unparalleled efficiency (the most efficient 2-zone heat pump on the market) - Complements your home's design rather than corrupting it - Intelligently adapts to how you actually live - Makes moving off fossil fuels an upgrade, not a compromise This recognition isn't just about our technology. It's about our vision for a future where sustainability is the desirable choice, not just the dutiful one. We can’t wait to share what else we have in store for this year. #FCMostInnovative https://lnkd.in/gNnNnaA2

The idea that led to Quilt was this: Turn heat pumps into an incredible consumer product. Not just a better product than other heat pumps – but better than any HVAC system of any kind. From day 1 we have invested deeply in two areas to accomplish that: design and innovation. FastCompany was one of the first magazines I read as a tech-obsessed kid in the 90s. It was how I followed the dotcom times from far away Canada. It's honestly a bit surreal to have Quilt recognized as one of the World's Most Innovative Companies in the Design category for 2025 https://lnkd.in/gUXeKmC7 Kudos where kudos is duo: key folks for this one are the incredible industrial design duo Mike Simonian and Maaike Evers, our creative director Audrey Nieh, product designers David Bedingfield and Andy Yang, our amazing marketing leader Lizz Niemeyer, and my co-founder Matthew Knoll. Thank you to all of you and many many others. And thank you to our customers who are the most important people of all.

Grateful to The Wall Street Journal and Jim Carlton for highlighting how AI-powered wildfire detection is supporting first responders all across the country and the globe. Of course, early detection isn't a silver bullet solution to the wildfire crisis - it is just one of many initiatives needed, both technological and non-technological, to reduce wildfire risk.?But AI wildfire detection is a mature, proven technology that WORKS and we hope to partner with both the public and private sector to continue rapidly deploying this technology worldwide.
