??? SAVE THE DATE! Monday, 24th March 13:00 GMT, we'll be bringing you the March edition of Climate Bonds' Lunch 'n Learn ???? This month we'll be covering an area which is both hugely important as well as relevant to current priorities around financing the fight against climate change: oil and gas transition plans. A common concern among the financial community is confusion over the many transition assessment methodologies, each claiming to be better. This issue is now a huge priority, especially with corporates feeling torn between competing approaches. This event will address key questions, such as : ?? What are transition plans? ?? How do they differ across sectors? ?? How should they impact investment decisions? ??Is there too much focus on emissions? We hope this session will also assist financial regulators and policymakers in clarifying the intent behind transition plan requests. Joining us: ???Olivia Bisel, Associate Analyst, Carbon Tracker ??? Rich Collett-White, Analyst, Carbon Tracker ???? Join us on LinkedIn Live, or register via Zoom here: https://lnkd.in/eM7AsGYe

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has published an information note detailing how banks, corporates and public sector entities are applying the Singapore-Asia Taxonomy (SAT) in financing decisions. The 20-page document also highlights opportunities for professional services, ranging from legal to auditing, to integrate the SAT into their work, reinforcing its role as a key reference for #SustainableFinance. ?? Did you know? Climate Bonds Initiative has been actively involved in its development since 2021! Our contributions include: ? Collaborating with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Green Finance Industry Taskforce (GFIT) (now the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association (SSFA)) to build the first multi-sector transition taxonomy for #ClimateMitigation. ? Supporting the final publication in 2023. ? Delivering workshops to help financial institutions and real sector players apply the taxonomy in practice. ?? The Singapore-Asia Taxonomy is a critical tool in guiding #SustainableInvestment and it’s part of a global shift. Find out more about our work on taxonomies worldwide: https://lnkd.in/dV9d_RXJ ??
