Thanks to Maryland Clean Energy Center for joining us at the Solar4Us @ Henderson-Hopkins ribbon-cutting and for being such great partners! We look forward to working with MCEC to expand access to clean energy to even more low-income households across the state of Maryland. #climateaccessfund #mcec #solar4us #solarforall #communitysolar #greenbank
Today, the Maryland Clean Energy Center joined #CleanEnergy advocates at the ribbon cutting for the Henderson-Hopkins Solar4Us #CommunitySolar project in East Baltimore. A Certificate of Recognition from the Comptroller of Maryland was presented to commemorate the occasion and was followed by remarks from climate champions and state officials, including U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen. Powered by the Climate Access Fund, Solar4Us aims to reduce the energy burden of low-income households through access to discounted clean energy through projects like these, helping bring #Maryland closer to net zero by 2045.
