We are excited to announce that Climate Access Fund has secured $200,000 to advance community solar efforts in Western Maryland! In partnership with grassroots advocates, public agencies,?nonprofit entities, and anchor institutions, CAF submitted a successful collaborative application to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Energizing Rural Communities (ERC) Prize Phase 2 Challenge. CAF has committed this funding, along with a 2023 Phase 1 ERC prize award of $100,000, to expanding low-income access to community solar in Western Maryland.
