Earlier this week, the young professionals in the OnBoard Cleveland 2025 Class took part in a Working Genius personality assessment where they explored how their geniuses (strengths) and frustrations (weaknesses) impact how they approach projects and people in their work and daily lives. OBC 2024 alums Andrianna D. Sheriff and Cody Crippen also hosted small group discussions on how to get the most out of the OBC experience by leveraging the connections they make with classmates and those they meet during the session days. The session concluded with a tour of MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network and a happy hour provided by the Beverage Robot. Thank you, Michelle Karp of K Carp Consulting, and Dr. Ethan Karp and MAGNET for providing the space (literally and figuratively) for our self-exploration and growth.

In 1986, a group of high school students were beginning their journey as the very first Look Up To Cleveland class. 39 years later, the program is still going strong and many of the students who have participated in the program over the years, are now the leaders driving positive change in our community today. Yesterday was an incredibly full day for the 65 members of Leadership Cleveland 2025 as they explored the Central Neighborhood. From Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, East Tech High School, and FRIENDLY INN SETTLEMENT INC, to OhioGuidestone and Rid-All Green Partnership, so much was learned about Central's proud history, its passionate leaders of yesterday and today, and how the right investments can yield unlimited possibilities for the future.??

Career Compass, which exposes high school students to a wide variety of career options and helps them see the pathways to those careers, kicked off the school year yesterday at Maple Heights High School with Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court Judge Francine Goldberg and Sarah Gelsomino, Partner at Friedman, Gilbert + Gerhardstein, LLC.
