We recently opened a state-of-the-art aseptic unit to prepare sterile products in a rigorously controlled environment, marking a significant milestone in the preparation of sterile medications. This unit will make Cleveland Clinic London the first hospital in the UK to provide a 24/7 Central Intravenous Additive Service (CIVAS) for all aseptically prepared sterile products, including non-chemotherapy medications. "This pioneering initiative highlights our commitment to innovation and places us at the forefront of advanced healthcare delivery," Lindsey Amerine, Cleveland Clinic’s Chief Pharmacy Officer. “By enhancing access to high-quality sterile medications around the clock, this development reinforces our mission to be the best place to receive care and reflects our dedication to serving patients with excellence and precision.”
