Last Friday, I had the honor of being presented with an award from Clemson University College of Education for being a finalist in the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) last fall. 3MT is a communication competition where graduate students have 3 minutes to present their research to a non-academic audience. As one of 18 finalists from across the whole graduate student body, this helped shape my communication and speaking skills, and I'm beyond grateful for the rewarding experience. Special thanks to C.C. Bates and Marieke Van Puymbroeck, Ph.D., CTRS, FDRT for the opportunity!
