Members of our ClearyX team recently taught the Intensive Course in Technology in Legal Practice at Dalhousie University - Schulich School of Law. The course was taught by Carla Swansburg, and featured several members of the ClearyX team including Terry Wallace, Shawn Wallace, Oliver Wilkinson, Adil S., Caitriona Robinson, and Josh Sherkin. The three-day course covered legal service delivery models, technology adoption, use cases for Generative AI and large language models, professionalism and governance issues, and the ethical use of technology. With thanks to Litera, students got to spend some time hands-on with technology, using Kira Systems to walk through an example of a diligence exercise.
