ClearVision Optical (CVO) was founded in Long Island, NY in 1949 by a young and ambitious Navy veteran named Fred Friedfeld. With the help of his wife, Mimi, Fred set out to serve independent eyecare professionals by offering quality products and personal service. As the company grew, so did the Friedfeld family with their children playing a more active role over time. David (President) and Peter (Executive Vice President) Friedfeld learned firsthand the significance of building meaningful relationships with customers as partners. Over 70 years the company has evolved and modernized, but has stayed true to its core ideology: Treat others as you wish to be treated. This simply philosophy is at the heart of our “CV Way” and provides a compass for our business decisions. We select talent to join our organization who are attracted to our culture and who are engaged by collaborating, ideating, and serving others. Her story left us in awe and fueled our excitement. ??? Tura Showroom Visit – Stephen, Pamela & Cathy joined our dear friend Jennifer Coppel for an exclusive look at their impressive design space. What did everyone think of Vision Week in NYC?! What an honor it was to be able to showcase ILLA with Stephen Tripi. Thank you Stephen Tripi for sharing exactly how ILLA was designed and the history behind the line. Connecting with other professionals in our company allows me to share more of ClearVision’s purpose and where we are heading. Being able to meet Lucas Friedfeld and learn so much about @TPI and the new innovative ways to create your own line truly shows how personalized eyewear is becoming. Being a sales representative and the owners knowing your name and truly caring about who you are as a person, your fit on the team, and wanting to help with everyday sales challenges and strategies is something that does not go unnoticed. I always look forward to chatting with Jennifer Trakhtenberg. Everyone can agree she is such an inspiration and her passion for ClearVision Optical radiates as she talks!
