This week we wanted to look at a data point that is near and dear to our followers:?Transport Rates! To anonymize the data and avoid having our larger customers over-represented, we limited the data to only 3000 randomly selected vehicles per quarter, per customer.?We also focused on the?relative?rise and fall of rates Year-over-Year, as percentages, using 2022 rates as the base.?That means the dark green 2023 data is YoY 2023 as compared to 2022.?The light green 2024 data is YoY 2024 as compared to 2023. These charts visualize the time a driver spends per mile delivering a load. We decided to focus on differences based on the total number of stops (including the original pickup). We aggregated by month to tease out any seasonality. It should be noted that we limited the data to loads that have only one pickup location and up to four delivery locations. We also excluded loads that don't have reliable telematics.

While overall claim numbers are very low, damage does happen.?Here’s?some aggregates of damage data across our entire platform.

What time of day are vehicles typically delivered??We took a sampling of 2 million vehicles that were delivered through the ClearPath TMS platform. Let us know in the comments if you’re interested in diving deeper into these insights and seeing more graphs like this.
