Do you work for a utility? Curious the role you can play to support Building Performance Standards ? Join the utility working group.
Attention utilities! Join us in shaping a more energy-efficient, equitable future in the buildings sector. Local governments are seeking support in creating and implementing policies to meet their climate and sustainability goals. As trusted community partners, utilities are uniquely positioned to drive impactful change by helping communities establish and implement energy-saving initiatives. As part of a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) award, Slipstream and ClearlyEnergy invite utilities to join our Utility Working Group and collaborate on strategies aimed to advance Building Performance Standards (BPS) in local governments across the US. Together, we're developing a utility attribution model for BPS and exploring how utilities can foster ongoing support for these transformative policies. We welcome diverse perspectives to tackle challenges and unlock the full potential of utility involvement in BPS policy adoption and compliance efforts. Your insights can help people save money, reduce GHG emissions, and improve the health and well-being of building occupants. Interested in joining? Contact Sarah Wells at [email protected] ??
