Today, I had the honor of kicking off a new Career Pathways Program cohort at Keystone Community Services in Saint Paul! I shared a bit about fiber optics - what it is, why it matters and how it connects our world. I especially enjoyed imploring these teens and young adults to think beyond what exists today. After all, fiber optics and other technologies aren’t just tools - they’re a way to imagine new possibilities. Best of all, I got to give away Clearfield swag and do a show & tell with our products!

Big congratulations to this year’s esteemed Clearfield Chili Cook-Off winner: MICHAEL ZIMMERMAN for “Texas-Sota Red”! 2nd place winner Johnny Hill impressed the judges with his “Hotter than Hades Hilli Chili.” The 3rd place award goes to Nichole Wentworth for her “Sweet Pork Chili.” For his spectacular chili prowess, Mike receives the traveling Clearfield Chili Contest Trophy, among other fantastic perks (the best one – at least 1 year of bragging rights). Thanks to everyone who entered and contributed to this flavorful event. Special shoutout to organizers Brittany Mantel (the past big winner), Kristina Tehle and Missy Zellmer.
