It’s a “Feel Good Friday” post!?Earlier this week, TOC account managers Timothy Roark, Cory Smith, Chris Smith, and Director of IVM Keven Ireland, hosted Lake Management Services and the TX Dept of Ag in the Houston area. For the fifth year in a row, over 100 employees from LMS attended the event which included CEU training and customer appreciation. Alongside TOC, were Syngenta and Alligare, treating the LMS employees to a good old-fashioned crawfish boil.?Num, Num, Num!??? Awesome engagement Tim, Cory, Chris, and Keven!?Maybe next year you’ll invite the Marketing Team… ? ?

This week The Orion Companies’ Chief Growth Officer, Matt Nespeca, made his annual visit to the Auburn University College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment to give a talk to the “Forestry in the Private Sector” class. This talk was focused on forest vegetation management and the careers that exist in the forestry industry. Matt stated, “It is fun to share a little bit about the history of forestry herbicide use in the Southeastern US and to talk to the students about how great of a decision it was to go to work for American Cyanamid back in 1997, which kick-started my career in so many ways. I appreciate the opportunity to return to Auburn where I received my BS in Forest Management and talk to current students who undoubtedly will bring new ideas and technologies into the industry which is critical to its sustainability.” On behalf of Matt, sincere thanks to Marc Walley, Weaver Professor, Marissa "Jo" Daniel, Assistant Professor of Forest Operations, and Heather Crozier, Director of Development, for their commitment to forest management and for welcoming Matt.?? Another example of our team giving back, way to go Matt!????

Using Aqua TROLL sensors, VuLink, and HydroVu, this Colorado utility can now track changes in real time, optimize aeration, and extend reservoir use—preserving groundwater and improving drinking water quality. "The reservoir looked crystal clear on the surface, but the probes were reporting that at 20 feet we had algae growing. How would you ever know that without continuous monitoring?" — Dr. A. Skibo, Amaruq Environmental Services Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/eSD9ebRE #watersimplified #continuouswatermonitoring #reservoir #groundwater #drinkingwater

Someone said “it ain’t all flowers out there”; well, we at ClearChannelVM believe that when you work on the water, every day is an opportunity to have fun! Following a very successful team meeting with our partners at The Orion Companies, our president Andrew Z Skibo, PhD CLM spent a little “team building” time with Bush Heathman of Phoslock Environmental Technologies discussing the coming water season while conducting an informal Redfish AKA Red Drum (Sciaenops ocellatus) population survey in the back bays of Charleston, South Carolina. Needless to say, time well spent and were very much looking forward to developing this collaborative relationship further. Doing more together.
