Since 1997, CRP/Clean Resources has built our company with a singular goal; to provide trouble free oil water separator products for those in the compressed air and environmental markets. Since then, we have developed units that not only work with all compressor lubricants, but solve the challenge of separating oil and water without creating additional problems. We were then able to develop a decompression chamber that would operate efficiently even if a condensate drain malfunctioned. Our efforts have resulted in innovative compressor condensate management on an extraordinary level. Our CRP-IDC Paks and CRP Paks use molecular filtration technology that yields clean discharged water that is guaranteed to meet EPA requirements for condensate discharge. Our units accomplish this efficiently and economically. These CRP-IDC Paks and CRP Paks are now the single most efficient oil water separators on the market. Clean Resources Active Filtration vs. Competitors’ Liquid Phase Separation Attracting Contaminants vs. Relying on Buoyancy Liquid Phase Separation relies on the buoyancy difference between the oil and water phase (i.e., oil floats to the top). These systems cannot remove glycol-based fluids because PAGs do not float on water. Liquid Phase Separators also require multiple segments to make up for inefficiencies and require extended periods of time to achieve clean separation. And after all that, these systems still often leave dissolved hydrocarbons in the discharge water. Clean Resources’ proprietary substrate beds attract all air compressor lubricants from the condensate, bonding them to the media bed and eliminating the possibility of accidental discharge. I need to do better about posting the fun projects we get in to at Iowa Pump & Compressor! Here's a #TwostageTuesday post with some pictures of a project we recently completed. It was such a large project I'll post in segments. Here's the first room we did. Replaced a problematic Quincy with a new Kaishan Compressor USA KRSP2-350 VSD, paired with a ZEKS Compressed Air Solutions cycling dryer & filtration. We laid the system out in 3D prior to starting which allowed us to complete removal and installation in a single day. We plumbed everything together with Parker Hannifin | Fluid & Gas Handling aluminum Transair piping. We have isolation valves in place for service and EPA compliance via an oil water separator from Clean Resources. I'm probably a little biased but the KRSP2-350 is the best deal on the planet if the air demand calls for it. It's super efficient and is very affordable to maintain compared to other solutions in this CFM range. Not to mention it comes with a #lifetime airend warranty! What more could you ask for? We're doing our verification audit now and the results are even better than expected, stay tuned in for future updates!
