The clean energy transition is here to stay, regardless of the outcome of any presidential election, because it is driven by market forces, consumer demand, and rapid innovation. Renewables like solar and wind are now the cost-competitive energy option, thanks to remarkable cost declines (e.g., solar prices have dropped 90% in the last decade!) And the momentum is clear here in Minnesota, where the clean energy sector has reached a record-breaking milestone of over 62,000 jobs, growing five times faster than the state’s overall economy. As CEEM's Gregg Mast writes along with Clean Grid Alliance's Beth Soholt, "Whether encouraged or merely tolerated by the federal government, clean energy is poised to define the next era of U.S. economic growth and leadership on the global stage. The White House might influence the pace, but the destination is inevitable." Read more about how clean energy is shaping America’s future:?https://lnkd.in/gtAHeBWB
