“They Not Like Us”, Kendrick Lamar The beauty industry has long capitalized on Black beauty, borrowing our trends and ignoring our needs. But while they try to imitate, they can never replicate the essence and resilience of our community. It’s time we make choices that reflect our worth and demand products that prioritize our health, not just their profit. They try to copy, but they’re not like us. Our beauty, our power, our choice. Your purchase, your power, your voice. #NotLikeUs #CleanBeautyforBlackGirls #cleanbeautyforblackgirls #BeautyJustice #BeautyStandards #KendrickLamar #BlackWomenDeserveBetter

Let’s be real: if we’re using menstrual products every month, we deserve to know what’s in them. A lot of big brands aren’t talking about the chemicals they add, like formaldehyde and phthalates, which come with some scary risks like hormone disruption and even cancer. Here’s what we can do about it: ? Go for fragrance-free, non-toxic options whenever possible. ? Check the labels, and don’t be afraid to ask brands to keep it clean. ? Stand with companies that put our health first. We deserve better—let’s keep pushing for safe choices for ourselves and future generations. #BlackHealthMatters #ToxicFreePeriods #SafeProducts #CleanBeautyforBlackGirls

Black women deserve better. Yet 75% of personal care products marketed to us contain harmful chemicals that aren’t even regulated by the FDA. This isn't just an oversight — it’s a dangerous disregard for our health and well-being. These toxic ingredients – often hidden under labels like 'fragrance' – disrupt our hormones, increase our cancer risks, and cause real harm. The very products designed to 'enhance' our beauty are putting our lives at risk. We have the power to demand more. It’s time we stop settling for products that harm us and push for safer, clean beauty alternatives. Your dollar is your voice. Let’s protect our crowns and our health. ????? #CleanBeautyForBlackGirls #BlackWomenDeserveBetter #ToxicBeauty #BeautyJustice #DemandCleanBeauty
