We are driven by a single mission: to do our part in protecting human health and environment by improving air quality

关于我们

The Clean Air Institute (CAI) is an independent, non- profit 501(c)(3) organization. It was created to bridge knowledge, expertise and technical capacity gaps to improve air quality and mitigate climate change by enabling and catalyzing decisions and investments on sustainable transport and energy. Our founding directors include Dr. Mario Molina, a 1995 Nobel Laureate, Dr. Alan Lloyd, former Secretary of the Environment for California, and Richard Ayres, a founder of the Natural Resources Defense Council. CAI currently has offices and staff in Washington, DC, and Mexico City, Mexico, as well as a network of affiliated experts around the globe. Sergio Sanchez, an internationally prestigious environmental professional experienced on urban environment issues, is CAI's founding Executive Director and CEO.
