We recently had the pleasure of participating in the 3rd Annual Bridge City ISD Education Foundation Golf Tournament at Babe Zaharias Golf Course in Port Arthur. Proceeds from the tournament benefit BCISD teachers and students. The BCISD Education Foundation’s mission is to generate funding that will enrich teaching, inspire learning, develop leadership, and enhance opportunities for BCISD students that would not otherwise be available. We’re flashing back to last month’s TASA | TASB txEDCON24 where it was announced that Royse City Independent School District College & Career Academy has been awarded two stars of distinction in the Exhibit of School Architecture for excellence in Planning and Wellness! ?? ??This recognition highlights the commitment to creating a space that not only fosters educational growth, but also prioritizes the well-being of students and staff. Each year, the TASA | TASB Exhibit of School Architecture awards projects across the state for excellence in design, value, innovation, community, planning, and school transformation. Royse City College & Career Academy is a three-story, 101,356 square foot state-of-the-art addition and renovation to the existing high school and provides flexible spaces for the District’s academic and CTE programs. The facility allows this fast-growth district to support an impressive array of course offerings that help students secure employment opportunities upon graduation and success in higher education.
