CMD is a full-service architecture studio based in San Francisco, California. We seek clients who want to develop a dialogue with our studio to create designs that are meaningful and engage with their environment. We believe that good design, at any scale, has the opportunity to transform our everyday experience. The buildings and objects that people build or make are extensions of who they are and who they want to become. Our design process distills the project-specific intentions of our clients, and blends them with the designers' and builders' expertise into the seed from which the built expression will grow. We bring our collective experience to bear on residential, civic, commercial, art installation, and exhibition design projects. We are trained as architects, engineers, furniture makers. We are practitioners of the digital arts. We use our hands. We know how to communicate. We make physical models. We want to be your designer.
