关于我们
Clatter Press is the collaborative project of sister-and-brother team Dempsey Ewan and Nigel Ewan. Their desire to make cool printed things, by themselves, in small print runs, with cool, bright ink colors, led them naturally to the riso process. They are learning to love its quirks and difficulties. Dempsey and Nigel are excited to work with artists and designers to fill Columbus with interesting, beautiful things. Email [email protected] to talk about a project or just say hi.

Pat and his pipes for the "Collections" issue of Big Mess. Had. great time hanging with Pat Hill and documenting his impressive assortment of pipes -- crafted by artisans from around the world. I also created some promo images of the issue in my studio. It was fun playing with different techniques and materials that complement the risograph printing process that Big Mess celebrates. Let me know what you think. Big thanks to Nigel E. and Dempsey Ewan for the call and to Pat for sharing his time and collection! Ohhhhh, and if you are a writer, photographer, illustrator, etc -- you should contribute to Big Mess. It's a celebration of all things creative, a labor of love, and a true breath of fresh air. The theme of the fall issue is "Explorers" and the winter issue is "Hair." Find out more about submitting here: https://bigmess.xyz/submit

Here's a shot of Lara Pipia (she/her) working in her kitchen (photo by Brian Kaiser)—half of it, at least! We still need to lay down the mint and black layers. ???? Also in this issue: Sadie Burzan, Joel Oliphint, Andrew Pirtle, Frances Sutton, PhD, and Ann Alaia Woods. Subscribe at bigmess.xyz and get a copy of SWEET when it ships out later this month! See you then.
