The mission of The Classical Theatre of Harlem (CTH) is to maintain a professional theatre company dedicated to presenting the classics in Harlem; to create employment and educational outreach opportunities in the theatre arts community; to create and nurture a new, young, and culturally diverse audience for the classics; and to heighten the awareness of theatre and of great art in Harlem.

The Classical Theatre of Harlem concluded this evening with the most anticipated summer production in NYC - A Midsummer Night's Dream. We were committed that following this production, the leadership in NYC, and those who love theatre and art in NYC, now know that the Classical Theatre of Harlem is great for NYC. NYC Office of the Mayor The ABNY Foundation Mellon Foundation Ford Foundation Given the challenges (which would make a great TV series - hello Netflix Apple Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios HBO Max Paramount Pictures!) I was reminded of a Sunday school quote: "No weapon formed against me shall prosper." Improvise; Adapt; Overcome. We have a small incredible team who punches way above its weight.
