Last week Classic Harbor Line sailed in the Hudson River Community Sailing @hudsonsailing fundraising regatta as a part of their Sailing for Scholars week. It was an honor to participate and help support their Sail Academy which gives sail training access to youth in our community, and also to their Adaptive Sailing program that creates access for individuals who may not otherwise be able to sail. Leafing these here for fall inspiration ?? We're offering lots of fall foliage experiences on our classic boats beginning tomorrow at 10am with an Urban Naturalist Fall Foliage Tour of the Grand Palisades. We'll cruise under the George Washington Bridge and up to the Cliffs of the Palisades while listening to an Urban Naturalist guide talk about the geology and ecology of the area. Cait and Clarissa (pic 2) recommend pairing this cruise with our international cider flight. Cheers! Other fall offerings include a fall foliage sail north on our brand new sailboat, Adirondack IV, and a variety of cruises up the Hudson River on our mini yachts, Kingston and Full Moon. *Daytime, sunset and evening departures into NY Harbor also available on our festively decorated yachts, Manhattan and Manhattan II. Then, we'll be doing a dockside christening as we celebrate the completion of our 90-foot, all wooden vessel, Schooner ADIRONDACK IV, certified for 85 passengers and completed at our yard, Scarano Boat Building, in Albany, NY.

During Climate Week NYC, we are thrilled to host the Stone Soup Leadership Institute as they award Henk Rogers - the clean energy visionary and founder of Blue Planet Alliance - the 2024 Cronkite Award for Ocean Champions. Then, join us in a dockside christening as we celebrate the completion of our 90-foot, all wooden vessel, Schooner ADIRONDACK IV, certified for 85 passengers and completed at our yard, Scarano Boat Building, in Albany, NY. Of note, 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of the Schooner ADIRONDACK, and Classic Harbor Line's commitment to bringing the very best in sailing and tourism to the public at Chelsea Piers. During the livestream event, we’ll talk with the builders and crew of Adirondack IV; visit climate-themed exhibits aboard Manhattan II featuring the Stone Soup Leadership Institutes sustainability education tools, Classic Harbor Line's 5 Eco Tours, and we’ll also meet some of our sustainability partners. Following the ceremonies, we’ll continue the livestream aboard Schooner Adirondack IV as we set sail in NY Harbor at sunset. We hope to see you online!
