We are thrilled to announce that the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Mid-America Region has recognized the New Terminal and Parking Garage at Kansas City International Airport as the 2024 Project of the Year and winner of an Excellence in Design Award for Commercial Projects. ?? Clark worked alongside Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) to deliver the 1.1 million-square-foot design-build project, which includes 40 new gates and the flexibility to expand in the future. Designed to showcase Kansas City’s authentic culture and heart, the space features nearly 50 local and global eating and shopping experiences as well as installations created by local artists throughout. The terminal, which is LEED Gold certified, is among the most sustainable in the nation and sets new standards for accessibility to meet the needs of all air travelers. #ClarkBuildsMO

Earlier this month, the Clark team at the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southwest NP-351 F35C Aircraft Maintenance Hanger and Airfield Pavements project in Lemoore, California, took a moment to reflect on some significant project milestones. ?? In recent weeks, the team finished installing the last of 467 piles and placed the slab on grade for the administrative portion of the hangar. Commander Sam Lee, Naval Air Station Lemoore's Public Works Officer, and Lieutenant Commander Kelty (Waldo) Lanham from the Air Wing spoke to crews about the project's importance for our nation and thanked the team for their hard work and focus on safety. #ClarkBuildsCA

Clark hosted our first trade contractor outreach event yesterday for Monumental Sports & Entertainment's Capital One Arena Transformation project. More than 200 attendees filled the arena to network and hear from Monumental Sports & Entertainment leaders and senior project team members about the major project that will modernize and transform this cornerstone of DC sports and entertainment. Thank you to our project partners, the Department of Employment Services (DOES), and the Department of Small and Local Business Development for helping to make this event a success! The sculptural construction of OCMA / Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) brings the gallery experience to visitors before they even enter the building. ?? Made possible by OCMA’s leadership and a commitment to collaboration from the designers and specialty contractors, the 53,000-square-foot-facility doubles the square footage of the museum's old location and features nearly 25,000 square feet of exhibition galleries, 10,000 square feet of education program space, performance, public gathering space, administrative offices, a gift shop, and a café. A true team effort, we're proud to work alongside Morphosis Architects, John A.
