#ClarkCounty is committed to ensuring all our residents, businesses, and visitors have access to the technology they need to thrive and doing so by exploring existing programs for broadband funding. To further this work, we are interested in supporting potential applicants to Nevada’s statewide Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program at the County level. The BEAD program is providing $416 million to reach over 60,000 eligible unserved, underserved, and community anchor institution (CAIs) locations, such as affordable and public housing properties, throughout the state. The County is committed to supporting this program by assisting BEAD applicants with their efforts to bring broadband to these unserved, underserved, and community anchor locations.
