This past weekend, several people from Clark volunteered at the MSU hockey concessions to help support the Lansing Westside YMCA. In addition to other volunteers from the YMCA and the Lansing Kiwanis Club, Clark had seven people volunteer during the MSU vs. ND game and were also able to raise $500 for our local Westside YMCA in the process. Special thanks to Betsy (& Denny) Zietlow, Tyler (and Taylor) Maxwell, and Dan (& Finn & Elsa) Korte for volunteering.

Great job to the SEMi team that showed up this morning for The Greening of Detroit event to plant trees at Milan Playfield on Detroit's west side (in the very cold rain). This is the 35th year of planting trees for Greening of Detroit after tree populations were decimated in the city from diseases and insects like the Emerald Ash Borer. We planted eight trees today and it's a great feeling to know we can drive past those trees for years and know our team made that impact. Last month, Great Lakes Water Authority hosted its annual Vendor Outreach Event at the Auburn Hills Marriott in Pontiac with over 225 Vendors in attendance. A panel discussion featuring GLWA prime contractors, including our own Vice President, Colt Odeh, provided small business vendors with information on how to become subcontractors.
