This year, we have successfully recruited 13 new Apprentice Multi-Trade Operatives for Clarion Response, one of our largest national initiatives. In an exciting milestone, five Clarion residents and two Clarion customers joined our cohort, marking a significant step in our commitment to supporting the communities we serve. Our new apprentices began their journey with an intensive one-week induction in early August, setting the foundation for their two-year, Level 2 apprenticeship in multi-trades. Our Apprenticeship Development Officer, has been closely working with each apprentice to foster confidence, break down barriers, and ensure they stay on track through regular quarterly reviews. While our apprentices will take ownership of their learning, they have the backing of their line managers and our Apprenticeship Development Officer, giving them the support they need to succeed and progress within or beyond Clarion. During the final stages of their programme, they will be assisted with career guidance, applications, and interview preparation, working closely with line managers and SMB College to address any challenges along the way. We’re proud to support this impactful programme and are excited to see our apprentices excel in their roles. #Apprenticeships #Apprentices #ClarionFutures #ProfessionalDevelopment

Working with Places for People and SNG (Sovereign Network Group), Clarion Futures has identified 23 organisations that will deliver Community Ambassador Programmes (CAPs) for 5-20-year-olds, connecting generations and embedding youth social action in communities from Bradford to Bristol. These 12-month youth-led projects will offer opportunities to develop new skills and build confidence, bringing older and younger residents together to collaborate on initiatives to tackle local issues, and explore ways to create more connected communities across generations.
