Not only is the world changing but the skills needed to be successful in it are too thus, our education model needs to adapt to fit the needs of our students. Nearly 300 enthusiastic supporters of education convened at St. Mary's Conference Center on Friday night to generate funds for the Clarenceville Education Foundation, raising over $20,000 at this annual event. The CEF has given $99,000+ to teachers/students through classroom grants & senior scholarships! Thank you to our sponsors of this event!!

Another great night was had by all who attended the Clarenceville Education Foundation Reverse Raffle fund raiser event. About 380 people attended the event to support the CEF & the students & teachers of the Clarenceville School District. The top 20 was whittled down to the top 10 for the big $$. The final 5 tapped out and earned a cool $1000 apiece!! Many 50/50 raffle winners, Bingo winners, Insurance pot winners, a huge Squares winner, & other game winners happened throughout the night! Thank you to our event sponsors & all the people who purchased tickets to attend!! I began this foundation 9 years ago & we have put over $99,000.00 into classrooms across the district through teacher grants & senior scholarships! I am thankful for all of the hard work by those who serve on the foundation board to make the CEF a great success. The CEF has become what I envisioned it to be & I am appreciative to all who contribute to its success in any way! This was my last Reverse Raffle event as the chairperson of the CEF due to my retirement & I am so proud of all the CEF has accomplished in 9 years!!

Last Thursday the Clarenceville School District & the Board of Education recognized Caitlyn Johnson for her outstanding performance at the MHSAA State Division II Bowling Championship where she became the 4th individual Clarenceville student athlete to become a STATE CHAMPION!! Along with that she also became the ONLY bowling individual REGIONAL CHAMPION for 3 consecutive years!
