Big news for landscape architecture in New Mexico! With the passage of SB 113, the New Mexico Board of Landscape Architecture will continue operating through 2036, ensuring strong regulation and licensure for the profession. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated efforts of ASLA New Mexico, the New Mexico Board of Landscape Architects, National ASLA, and CLARB - Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards—along with the landscape architects who took action to support this bill. I’d like to share some exciting updates about the CLARB - Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards staff team! CLARB is excited to welcome Emily Cronbaugh Bogstie to the CLARB team as our new Director of Programs! I am thrilled to announce the Andrea Elkin, PMP has accepted a promotion to the newly created role of Director of Business Systems! Zach Druga has assumed a role with added responsibilities as Member Relations and Advocacy Manager. Finance and Office Manager Dorothy Ludwig will continue in her current role and now report directly to the CEO.
