We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Jessie Schutt-Aine as Executive Director of the Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF). Jessie is a seasoned global health leader with over 25 years of experience driving impact at top international organizations like the World Health Organization, UNAIDS, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, and IPPF. She is also a true global citizen - of Haitian and Chilean heritage, fluent in three languages - whose career includes 12 years in the Caribbean and several in Switzerland. After five years leading the Board’s Programs and Impact Committee, Jessie is now stepping up to lead CLF. We are also excited to announce Amina Doherty as our new Head of Programs and Impact. Amina is a Nigerian/Antiguan feminist leader with more than 20 years of experience building social justice programs across four continents. She is a co-founder of the groundbreaking Black Feminist Fund, which has mobilized multimillion-dollar resources worldwide, as well as FRIDA: The Young Feminist Fund. Before joining CLF, Amina served at the Equality Fund, where she led Caribbean grant-making programs before becoming Vice President of People, Equity, and Culture. We are excited to share more in the coming year as we work toward our collective vision of creating culturally vibrant, imaginative, and equitable communities - a bold ambition that matches the bold spirit of our founder, Robyn Rihanna Fenty. As a first step, we encourage you to explore our latest Impact Report with more information on CLF’s mission, programs, and partnerships.
