Clair Global UAE proudly provided audio, comms, and data for the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad, a celebration of the nation's heritage and culture. Set in the middle of a national park, the event posed unique challenges, from the expansive stage design to the presence of a live orchestra. Our team deployed an audio system carefully designed by Auditoria to ensure pristine sound for every guest while integrating seamless communication with a fully networked data transfer system, extensive two-way radio coverage, and a digital matrix for sitewide connectivity. "Having worked on National Day projects since 2010, I'm continually amazed by the creativity and effort behind each show," stated Andy Jackson, CEO, Clair Middle East. "As Clair Global, this marks our third year, and it was as enjoyable as ever. Delivering this year's production with such ambition in a reduced timeframe showcased our team's multi-service growth in managing audio, comms, and data seamlessly." Saturday Night Live recently celebrated 50 years on air - a monumental milestone that called for a legendary production. With a star-studded guest list, including current and former cast members and SNL alumni, additional seating was needed in Studio 8H, along with overflow in Studio 8G. We were proud to support SNL 50: The Anniversary Special, providing additional PA coverage with the latest CF Series from Cohesion ensuring the esteemed guests experienced every moment of this historic night. We also backed performances from longtime clients Paul Simon and Paul McCartney and provided boards, monitors, and a full stage package for the after-party at The Plaza Hotel. This moment was extra special to several of the crew, including Account Executive Nathaniel Hare, who spent seven years at NBC—including work on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, and SNL’s 40th Anniversary Special —before joining Clair, and to Sound Designer Duncan Edwards, whose history with SNL spans decades. This was truly a night to remember. Once again, our team from ATK ensured every call, announcement, and performance was heard with clarity and precision. From pre-game to the final whistle, we provided stadium-wide audio and seamless comms, overcoming the unique challenges of the Superdome to keep 250+ users connected and every moment sounding its best. The success of SoundStorm 2024 is a testament to the power of teamwork. 150 crew members from across the globe, representing Clair, Eighth Day Sound Systems Inc, ATK, and AudioRent Clair GmbH, coordinated across four time zones to deliver flawless audio, extensive IT, and critical communications for over 450,000 fans and 200 artists. Twenty One Pilots closed out their South American run with the biggest solo show of their career. 55,000 fans packed into Allianz Parque for an unforgettable night. FireAid—an evening of music and solidarity—brought together 35 artists, an all-star production crew, and a global audience to raise money for wildfire recovery. We're proud to have been part of this incredible event, which has raised over $100 million in donations. Clair Global, alongside Eighth Day Sound Systems Inc? and Sound Image, supported rehearsals for an incredible lineup, while ATK deployed a donated PA system for the Kia Forum. Our very own Shaun Clair, EVP of Business Development, Clair Global, and Josh Lloyd, Head of Engineering, Britannia Row Productions Limited?, joined industry peers for We Make Events BikeFest to help raise awareness & vital funds for Backup Tech via an epic 236-mile (380 km) cycle from Valencia to Barcelona. After a 91-mile trek on day 1, day 2 presented riders with rain and cold winds, adding to the already challenging ride. On Day 3, they made it safely to their destination at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE). Congrats on this accomplishment, and a huge thank you to everyone who donated to this cause.
