For Day 4 of WIC week, some of CK's team members attended The Women in Construction Mixer held at Franklin Park Conservatory. This was a great opportunity for our CK women to connect with women throughout the industry. Several women-owned vendors were also showcased, offering a great chance to support local businesses. Attendees explored diverse biomes and the butterfly exhibit while having professional headshots taken. For Day 3 of WIC week, CK team members attended "The State of the Girl" event for the Girl Scouts of Ohio Heartland. This community event highlighted the voices of girls and addressed the important issues impacting their lives. From those just starting their leadership journeys to the inspiring alumni keynote speaker Janica Pierce Tucker, Partner at Taft Law Firm, the event reinforced the Girl Scout mission to advocate for girls both locally and nationally. ? CK Construction partnered with the Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland on their newly finished Dream Big STEM Leadership Center, with women comprising 50% of CK's project team. This innovative maker space inspires future female STEM leaders while addressing Ohio's workforce needs.
