?? Behind the Scenes with the CKAN Core Dev Team Recently, we made a change to #CKAN to improve security by locking down some parts of our system. But - surprise! - that change accidentally broke one of our tools that helps us automatically test and build #CKAN. It’s like buying a fancy new oven for baking cookies and realizing it doesn’t work with your favorite recipes anymore. Here’s how we’re handling it: 1. Quick fix: We decided to temporarily go back to the old way (a less secure setup for testing, but still totally safe for development) so we can keep everything running smoothly. 2. Long-term plan: While we’re working with the old setup, we’re also improving our tools and processes behind the scenes so everything will run even better in the future. 3. Extra caution: Some things, like automatically sharing updates (our cookies!) with others, are paused for now. Instead, we’re doing it manually to make sure everything stays on track while we make improvements. We’re balancing quick fixes with long-term improvements to make sure CKAN keeps working smoothly for everyone. We’ve got this! ?? ??
