Hearing is one of the last senses to lapse when a person is dying. I know this sweet boy heard us when he looked at us and smiled as his Dad and I were talking about football and his favorite team. I delivered this hat to him and promised more was coming as we prepare to make his sweet 16 birthday the biggest and best. We delivered 60 love filled bags to Ronald McDonald House Charities? of Greater Washington, DC (RMHCDC) and we received the sweetest notes of thanks from families! “Just wanted to drop a note and thank you for the bag of treats you provided us at the DC Ronald McDonald House. At a stressful time because of our daughter's surgery, your bag made us feel cared for” Thank you RMHC for helping us to spread love! ??

We are so proud to announce that in our first year of fundraising in 2024, we raised close to $25,000! With these funds in just the last FOUR months we have: -Partnered with Christmas Tree Santas for our first annual event where 150 live trees, 150 tree stands, 300 boxes of lights and 150 boxes of ornaments were donated to families with Capital Caring Kids, Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation and She Believes In Me. -Partnered with Billhighway to donate take home bags for participants in the Capital Caring Point of Hope Bereavement camp -Donated toys to pediatric patients at the August Healthcare at Iliff and Children’s National Hospital -Supported the DC Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation by providing treats to families at their annual Halloween event -Granted $1500 in special family requests Thank you to all who have supported us, we can't wait to make a bigger impact this year and to bring many more moments of joy to very deserving families.
