(CECS) is a diversified engineering firm providing a variety of engineering services with an emphasis on transportation projects, including Hydraulics, Roadway Design, Bridge Design, Project Management, Traffic Studies, Environmental, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), Utility Coordination and Construction Management/Monitoring and Inspection. CECS was founded in Columbia, South Carolina in 1993. I'm glad to be part of this project. We will get these 8 bridges raised. And give the interstate a better ride.
SCDOT recently raised the bridge on Old Whitmire Highway over I-26 in Newberry County so that it meets modern clearance requirements for vehicles passing underneath. This is one of 8 bridges along this stretch of Interstate 26 (MM 66 to 82) undergoing rehabilitation work.
