CivicsEDU is an emerging Charlotte-based nonprofit whose mission is to improve civic literacy in schools and communities across the Central Carolinas. At CivicsEDU, we envision a society where every individual is empowered with the knowledge and skills to actively participate in civic life. Our vision is to cultivate a community where civic literacy is not only a foundation but a dynamic force that fuels informed decision-making, fosters meaningful engagement, and strengthens the fabric of democracy. We aspire to be the leading catalyst for transformative change in civic education. Our vision encompasses a future where citizens, regardless of background or socio-economic status, possess a deep understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and the mechanisms that drive our democratic system. Through CivicsEDU, we strive to create a nation where informed citizens are not just observers but active contributors to the shaping of their communities and the nation at large.
