Accelerating Civic Engagement within Healthcare Settings and Communities
关于我们
The Civic Health Alliance is a non-partisan coalition of health and civic leaders allied around one common cause: the advancement of America’s health through civic engagement in care settings and communities. CHA was formed because the 2020 pandemic and presidential election cycle, along with previous elections, demonstrated the undeniable connection between civic engagement and health outcomes. Building off efforts with VoteHealth 2020, the Civic Health Alliance leverages the unique voice and positions of health professionals to encourage their peers, patients, health systems and communities to remain civically engaged around issues that protect health and wellness. CHA aims to educating staff, patients, and communities on the connection between civic engagement and health outcomes. Additionally, CHA encourages voter registration efforts within care settings and in partnership with non-partisan community efforts. Finally, CHA works to empower people to vote as safely and easily as possible by eliminating barriers to voting. Interested in joining the movement? Email us at [email protected]
