We’re thrilled that CivicaScript member Navitus Health Solutions has established a scholarship in the name of our new president, Brent Eberle. Brent spent more than two decades at Navitus, most recently as Chief Pharmacy Officer. He joined CivicaScript earlier this month, taking the lead as we prepare to launch new, lower-cost generic medicines in the coming year. The new scholarship was created at Brent’s alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy, honoring his “exceptional leadership and his contributions to the pharmaceutical field.” Congratulations, Brent – we are so proud to have you at the helm as we work to make quality generic medicines affordable and available to everyone.

We applaud U.S. Sen. Jacky Rosen's efforts to launch a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) inquiry into PBMs that are blocking patient access to low-cost generic medicines. PBMs that profit from higher-priced medicines have a financial disincentive to provide access to low-cost generics, such as those offered by CivicaScript.
