Election Day Is Here: Celebrating Democracy in Action! ??? Today's the day, America! As millions head to the polls, the Civic Alliance celebrates the culmination of months of preparation and the vibrant expression of our democracy. As you head out to vote today, remember: 1. Be patient and kind - election workers are doing their best to ensure a smooth process for everyone. 2. If you encounter any issues, don't hesitate to ask for help. That's what administrators and volunteers are there for! 3. Thank your election workers - a little appreciation goes a long way. To our member companies: Your efforts in encouraging civic engagement, providing time off to vote, and contributing to the poll worker force have been instrumental. You're showing that business can be a powerful force for democracy. ?? Reminder: As long as you're in line before closing, you have the right to cast your vote! In some states polling places are open until 8 PM local time. Haven't voted yet? There's still time! Find your polling place at turbovote.org and get out there to make your voice heard. As the day unfolds, we'll be watching with pride as millions of Americans exercise their right to vote. This is democracy in action, and it's a beautiful thing.
