Last week, COG had the honor of sponsoring and celebrating 25 years of the Michigan League of Conservation Voters! The night featured renowned environmental champions Gene Karpinski, the President of the National League of Conservation Voters, and Phil Roos, Director of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). Congrats to all the special awardees of the night. The Civic Operations Group is proud to join the fight to protect our environment and democracy. Thank you to the Michigan League of Conservation Voters for putting on such a wonderful event! Through our partnership with the Michigan League of Conservation Voters, we educated Michiganders on residential clean energy resources and helped them access programs like home energy assessments and weatherization, amongst several others. #CleanEnergy #InflationReductionAct #ClimateAction

COG's President, Jess T., had the pleasure of speaking at the Forward Together Wisconsin Fall Convening! Jess joined the panel "Delivering The IRA To Your Door: Leveraging Our Networks and IRA Navigation Tools", where she highlighted the power of direct, in-person outreach to connect individuals to the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act. We recently wrapped up a successful multi-phase program with Wisconsin Conservation Voters and Forward Together Wisconsin to educate residents on the Inflation Reduction Act. ?? Program Highlights: ?
