Ten years ago, It's On Us was founded with a simple, but powerful message: campus sexual assault is preventable. Over the last decade, we have grown into the nation’s largest student organizing program dedicated to college sexual assault prevention, engaging students through grassroots organizing, prevention education programs, and large-scale culture change campaigns. By calling in all college students — including young men — to see themselves as part of the solution, It's On Us is building towards a world in which no student graduates college having been sexually assaulted. Today, I am proud to share that It's On Us was a beneficiary of the Kering Foundation’s annual Caring for Women Gala, which raises funds for organizations supporting gender-based violence survivors and implementing prevention initiatives. The Kering Foundation’s donation is the largest single contribution to It’s On Us in our ten-year history. Their contribution will propel us into our next decade of impact, empowering our team to make critical investments in expanding our campus chapter network, developing new and innovative prevention education programs, and building the next generation of student organizers dedicated to campus sexual assault prevention. Voting is a celebration, and on Tuesday, October 29th, When We All Vote is leveling up by hosting a When We All Vote Rally in Atlanta featuring Co-Chair Michelle Obama and friends! Happening just one week before Election Day, the rally will “set the tone for the entire country — especially first-time voters — to vote early,” said When We All Vote Executive Director Beth Lynk. Georgia has already seen record turnout for early voting, and the rally will mobilize first-time voters and uplift our Georgia partners and volunteers who work year-round to make sure their communities are registered and ready to vote.
