CityTeam San Jose is prepping our Thanksgiving meal from scratch. We are cooking up ?? 50 turkeys, mashing ?? 300 pounds of potatoes, and preparing ??200 pounds of veggies for our neighbors in need! We're excited to welcome all in our doors to enjoy holiday vibes with a NFL watch party and free haircuts tomorrow from 11am-5pm, expecting to hand out 750 meals ?? ?? This week, my team and I had the privilege of volunteering with CityTeam to help make a difference in the lives of our elderly community members. We packaged over 522 bags of groceries for low-income senior citizens who are unable to leave their homes. It was an incredibly fulfilling experience to support those in need, especially as we approach Thanksgiving—a time for gratitude and giving back. Knowing that these efforts will help brighten someone’s day and provide them with essential food is truly heartwarming. A special shoutout to Moises for coordinating this event and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Your leadership and dedication made it all possible! “I was homeless and in active addiction. I started using drugs when I was 13 years old, and progressively my addiction became worse. My family wanted nothing to do with me. I eventually lost everything that mattered most to me...
