We extend our heartfelt thanks to the participants of the CivicsEDU Civic Academy Program! Over the course of four weeks, they explored the workings of local government, gained insights into our Utilities and Planning Departments, and began developing thoughtful policy recommendations. We hope they continue to stay informed and actively engaged with the vital issues shaping our local community! Last night, we recognized the six graduates of our inaugural Civic Academy Program cohort at the December session of the City of York, South Carolina City Council meeting. We are so proud to see the civic growth that has transpired with these participants and we’re excited to begin planning for the next pilot program!
