关于我们
The City of Wadsworth is one of the fastest-growing communities in Northeast Ohio, and it’s no secret why! It offers the quaintness of a small town, coupled with the sophistication of a community that is progressive enough to offer its own municipally-owned electric utility and high-speed internet and cable services. With our vibrant and Historic Downtown, excellent schools, beautiful parks, exciting community events, progressive public services, and overall charm, more and more people are finding reasons to live, work, and play in Wadsworth. The City is a delightful mix of families who have been part of the community for several generations, younger families who have chosen to “move back home” to Wadsworth, and new families who have only recently discovered this special city. We are truly A Community Unmatched! COMMUNITY EVENTS: First Fridays Blue Tip Parade & Festival Independence Fireworks Farmers Market Taste of Wadsworth Scare on the Square

Tyler Murawski is a Parks Operator who has been with the City of Wadsworth Parks Department for eleven years. Tyler takes great pride in his work and consistently goes above and beyond. He excels at training new employees in ballfield maintenance and has assisted in establishing a seamless departmental rotation of the ballfield schedule. A true team player, Tyler always maintains a positive attitude. He readily assists other City departments, notably the Vehicle Maintenance Department. By supporting the mechanics, he helps ensure timely vehicle and equipment repairs, which directly benefits the efficient delivery of City services. Tyler's extensive knowledge and experience make him an invaluable resource to the department. This week, the City of Wadsworth joined American Municipal Power, Inc., and other public power communities in Washington, D.C., for the American Public Power Association (APPA) Legislative Rally. Mayor Robin Laubaugh engaged in meaningful discussions regarding electric issues with Senator Jon Husted, Senator Bernie Moreno, and an aide to Congressman Max Miller. We appreciate our legislators for their time and attention to these important matters. #CityofWadsworth #ACommunityUnmatched #PublicPower #WeArePublicPower #CapitolHill

At today’s State of the City address during the Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon, we had the privilege of presenting Tom Shuster with the Key to the City! You may not know Tom by name, but if you’ve been in northern Wadsworth, you’ve likely seen him. Every day, except Sundays or bad weather, he spends 2 to 4 hours picking up litter, covering areas from Chase Bank on High Street to Reimer Road, the woods east of the Galaxy, and even on and off ramps. A retired teamster who spent 37 years on the road, Tom wanted to stay active while making a difference. His quiet dedication has inspired others to take pride in our community, proving that small, consistent efforts create a lasting impact. Join us in celebrating Tom Shuster, this year’s Key to the City recipient! The State of the City, presented by Mayor Robin Laubaugh, highlighted Wadsworth’s accomplishments over the past year and progress in 2025. The full address will be available on WCTV and at WatchWCTV.com #CityofWadsworth #ACommunityUnmatched
